'10 Years of the Pla de Barris' Touring Exhibition

To mark 10 years of the Pla de Barris, a series of touring exhibitions is travelling through the city's neighbourhoods. The displays offer a view through projects and first-hand accounts from each area, and will run from July to November, starting with La Barceloneta and Verdun, which open the tour. Each exhibition combines a shared section explaining what the Pla de Barris is with a specific section on the work carried out in each neighbourhood. The displays stay in place for 15 days before moving to a new location, on a route running from July to November through different neighbourhoods. The exhibition combines testimony, photographs and projects that explain, from very close up, how the neighbourhoods have changed over these ten years. More than a review of works carried out, it is an invitation to meet the people behind each project and to see how these initiatives have become part of residents' daily lives. Each stop includes a shared section on the Pla de Barris and another devoted to the neighbourhood hosting the exhibition.
