The Third Historical Studies Conference will examine the legacy of the monastery of Sant Jeroni de la Vall d'Hebron. On Friday afternoon, it will address the evolution of the order, the fire at the monastery during the Peninsular War, the tradition of bells and a film screening. On Saturday morning, the historical impact of the monastery on its surroundings will be studied, including legal disputes, its relationship with Sant Martí de Cerdanyola and its influence on the place names of Sant Genís dels Agudells and Horta.
