Parc de les Rieres d'Horta, la Clota, Horta-Guinardó
Meeting point: Parc de les Rieres, at 10.15 Once again the people of Horta gather to honour our hairiest and most irreverent patron: the Sant Gla. The wild boars come down into the neighbourhood to take over the streets and chase young and old to the rhythm of the brass band. 10.15 Display of beasts, drumming workshop and handing out of race numbers to children. With this number they can ask for refreshments at the bar set up in Plaça de Santes Creus. 10.45 The route starts, with a stop at Carrer de La Plana / Carrer de Porto for the starting shot, 'El Txupinassu'. 11.45 In Plaça de Santes Creus, from the balcony of the old town hall, the welcome of the Sant Gla. The 'Santet' will be presented to a neighbourhood association, organisation or business. 13.00 Community lunch by the Colla del Sant Gla, with wild boar civet, bread, a drink and ice cream. 15.00 Community karaoke to round off the meal. Lunch ticket price €7. Tickets must be bought in advance. Keep an eye on the poster and our social media.
