"Amb D de Dona" Gathering and Concert

The Festival 8 Hores de Flamenc, run by the Peña Flamenca del Poble-Sec, comes to Paral·lel 62 with two events that put cante centre stage. At 7 pm, the hall will host Amb D de Dona free of charge, a gathering featuring four Catalan artists: the cantaoras Ana Brenes, Lídia Mora and Alexandra Moreno, and the bailaora María Sierra. A celebration of flamenco made and lived by women, bringing together different generations, voices and sensibilities from the Catalan scene. Free with advance ticket booking At 9 pm, Sandra Carrasco and David de Arahal will close the festival with an intimate, essential concert. Two generations of flamenco meet in an unadorned format, where voice and guitar converse through tradition, sensitivity and a shared way of understanding flamenco.
