'Ana Rossi and Joana Queiroz' Concert

26 September 2026 · 21:30

Teatre Grec, el Poble-sec, Sants-Montjuïc

Show title: Lo que se sabe invisible. Contemporary creative music – Brazil, Argentina and Catalonia. In this creative project, sonic memory enters into dialogue with experimentation. It brings together Ana Rossi, an Argentine singer, composer and instrumentalist based in Tiana, and Joana Queiroz, a Brazilian clarinettist and performer. Each has a special connection with the music and sounds of their territories, and they develop languages combining tradition and contemporaneity through living practices: orality, improvisation, deep listening, experimentation and the expanded use of technology as a poetic tool. Voice, bass clarinet, guitar and real-time sound manipulation intertwine with sonic textures generated live. It is a meeting between two artists who observe nature, words, memory and territory: from what they see, they imagine possible futures. Limited-capacity concert. Access to the venue will not be permitted once the authorised capacity has been reached. This concert is the result of a residency at Fabra i Coats: Fàbrica de Creació. This concert is a special production for La Mercè 2026.

Part of the programme: Mercè 2026. 103 activities in Barcelona, from September 23 to September 27. All free.
