Jamboree, el Barri Gòtic, Ciutat Vella
Armin Jambor tenor sax · Mátyás Bartha piano · Miloš Čolović bass · Oleg Markov drums. Led by Vienna-based saxophonist and composer Armin Jambor, the Armin Jambor Quartet brings together four highly regarded musicians from the Austrian jazz scene. The group combines the language of modern jazz with a strong melodic storytelling ability, creating music that is both sophisticated and accessible. The quartet consists of Armin Jambor on tenor sax, Mátyás Bartha on piano, Miloš Čolović on double bass and Oleg Markov on drums. Their music is characterised by lyrical melodies, elaborate compositions, close interplay between the musicians and energetic improvisations. Drawing on both European and American jazz traditions, the group has developed a distinctive sound that balances a contemporary aesthetic with deep respect for the jazz heritage. In November 2026 the quartet will release its debut album, Touch & Fade, in collaboration with G2 and Sony Music. After the release, the group will tour Spain, Germany and Austria to present this new repertoire to audiences across Europe.
