'Autism, Gender and Identity: Experiences and Resistance' Talk

Led by La ruta morada. In this talk we will discuss how autism is experienced differently depending on gender. We will share some of the most common experiences of autistic women and LGBTI people, both in childhood and adulthood, the barriers they face in everyday life, and how forms of resistance are built individually and collectively to make it possible to inhabit the world as oneself, using specific examples.
