At 12 pm BLUES A LA FONT with Wax & Boogie We liked them so much that for this year's Autumn Festival at la Font, Wax & Boogie are back in the square. Who are Wax & Boogie? One of the best and most highly regarded acts on the blues, rhythm and blues and boogie woogie scene. Made up of Ster Wax (voice) and David Giorcelli (piano), they have captured like few others the true spirit of African American traditional music and turned it into their own means of expression. The band has a first-rate rhythm section with Reginald Vilardell on drums and Little Jordi on double bass. Their groove is enviable. Completing the line-up as its star turn, on tenor sax, is the great Pol Padrós.
