Barcelona 2035. Una ciutat per viure-hi is a living exhibition inviting you to discover the major transformations redefining Barcelona and evolving with the city itself, updating and incorporating new projects and perspectives as the city progresses. A point for public information, a viewpoint over the present and immediate future, a space for a city that thinks, plans and acts. Visitors can explore the city's major projects in detail on a large table at the centre of the room. Maps, models and images guide visitors through the transformations under way and explain the impact they have on people's lives. The route helps visitors understand how each intervention forms part of a broader city project and how its effects are felt concretely in neighbourhoods and everyday life. Where is more housing being created? Where are new high-quality jobs being generated? How is mobility improving? How are neighbourhoods adapting to encourage people to put down roots and strengthen their identities? 'Barcelona 2035' answers these questions by explaining the city's major areas of transformation: the new La Marina del Prat Vermell neighbourhood; the new Montjuïc as a major urban and metropolitan…
