'Basic Sewing and Pattern Making' Workshop

Teacher: Maria Núria Passada. We will learn to sew by hand and machine, along with tips and secrets for finishing. Sewing zips, making alterations, using bias binding, hems, edges... We will also practise what we have learned by making a simple item such as cushion covers, aprons, bags or sewing cases, and construct a garment or use patterns from magazines. On the first day bring: scissors, thread, needle, thimble and clothing to recycle.
