Beethoven was the great reshaper of the musical adventure. Without this great composer, not only would today's music be different: the Western world itself would probably be another. Starring Xavier Albertí at the piano, this concert-performance sets out to explore the deep aesthetic and ideological mark the genius from Bonn has left on our own time. Beethoven is thus a forceful demonstration of the revolutionary power of art, thanks to the extraordinary imprint of beauty on social and political change. And to the deep emotions that Culture with a capital C can awaken.
