'Bia Ferreira' Concert

Show title: Améfrica. Rap / Reggae / R&B - São Paulo - Brazil. Bia Ferreira presents Améfrica live, a conceptual show named after her latest album and celebrating the union of peoples and African and Latin diasporic languages. The concert journeys through this new work and also includes pieces from the albums Igreja Lesbiteriana, um chamado and Faminta. On stage you will find a Brazilian singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and artivist regarded as one of the most powerful voices on today's Latin American music scene. She combines music, activism and politics to denounce structural racism and LGBT-phobia and defend Black feminism, love and community bonds. Musically trained from childhood —she wrote her first song at the age of twelve—, she plays several instruments and defines her style as Música Brasileira Contemporânea, influenced by soul, blues, reggae, funk, R&B, rap and sounds of the African diaspora.
