The first edition of the Biennal will feature an international symposium, a professional gathering, several exhibitions and a map of digital initiatives across Catalonia. The event is conceived as a platform designed to connect thought, artistic creation and the professional sector, bringing together artists, companies and students. Biennal d'Arts Digitals is curated by Pep Salazar, an expert in digital creativity and director of OFFF. Biennal d'Arts Digitals connects, showcases and promotes the digital arts scene through five lines of action: curating exhibitions and programmes, mapping the local scene, connecting stakeholders, supporting and accompanying projects, and mediation and critical discourse. These lines of action will take shape in a series of activities running between November 2026 and March 2027, with Disseny Hub Barcelona (DHub) as the main venue. They will include, among others: Vectors Exhibition. From late November to 14 March. DHub. An exhibition curated by Irma Vilà Òdena exploring the living ecosystem of contemporary digital art through the voices and practices of generations of artists who work with computational technologies to imagine alternative presents…
