Nora Aurrekoetxea's exhibition brings together newly produced works and existing pieces that the artist modifies. These pieces respond to a series of questions, intuitions and exercises around sculptural practice that Aurrekoetxea has developed in recent years. Altering the use and form of everyday objects and structures, intensifying their proportions and studying how certain materials respond to very specific actions and gestures are some of the operations present in the sculptures and interventions on show in the gallery. Her artistic practice spans sculpture, installation, text and performance, developing a language in which everyday objects, bodies and architecture coexist in open relational systems. Her processes are built on intuition, accident and listening to the act of making itself. Curated by Vera Martín Zelich
