"Black Holes: A Crossroads in the Development of Modern Physics" Talk

The concept of a black hole will be presented briefly and accessibly, along with how this idea has become increasingly important in different fields of research: astrophysics, cosmology, fundamental physics, materials science, etc. The talk will then cover the different experimental and observational efforts that have been carried out, and will be carried out in the future, to learn more about them, with special attention to the major technological advances produced by this exciting research. Led by Carlos Sopuerta, researcher at ICE-CSIC.
