"Bobby Carcassés" Concert

Bobby Carcassés flugelhorn and vocals · Roberto Carcassés piano and vocals · drums · bass · congas · sax At Barcelona's emblematic Jamboree club we will celebrate Bobby Carcassés's 88th birthday with a one-off concert. Joined by his son, the acclaimed Roberto Carcassés, and by leading Cuban instrumentalists based in Spain, he will offer a musical dialogue across generations. Around the film «Timbalayé», starring Bobby Carcassés himself, we will explore the origins of Afro-Cuban music and the birth of Cuban jazz with one of its main forerunners. Everyone buying a ticket for the concert is also invited to the screening of the film, which will take place at the Centre Cívic de Barcelona.
