Symphonic virtuosity Stefan Dohr, principal horn of the Berlin Philharmonic, is the star of this exceptional concert. He performs Benet Casablancas's Horn Concerto No. 2, receiving its Catalan premiere, a work of rich colour and orchestral detail. In the second half Dohr joins the Franz Schubert Filharmonia for Brahms's monumental Piano Concerto No. 2. Maxim Lando, one of the most promising figures in piano today, makes his Spanish debut thanks to the Franz Schubert Filharmonia's collaboration with the Cleveland International Piano Competition, where Lando was a prizewinner.
