"Bruckner's Romantic" Concert
29 November 2026 · 18:00
Palau de la Música Catalana, Sant Pere, Santa Caterina i la Ribera, Ciutat Vella
Second programme of the 12th season of the Jove Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona (JOSB) at the Palau de la Música Catalana. Under the musical direction of maestro Carlos Checa, the JOSB presents one of the cornerstones of the symphonic repertoire, Anton Bruckner's Symphony No. 4, "Romantic". A legendary symphony named "Romantic" by the composer himself, which takes us into a monumental and profound musical language; quite a challenge for the orchestra's young musicians. This concert in the JOSB Series at the Palau de la Música Catalana is a charity concert in aid of the Banc dels Aliments food bank.
