How is a discourse of hatred and supremacy constructed? And how is the resilience of a people subjected to constant aggression built? Why does a people need to expand its living space? Is it greed? Religious fanaticism? Revenge? Who does a piece of land belong to, or perhaps does the land belong to no one? We have not found all the answers we would like, but even so we cannot remain silent, lamenting our inaction. Poetry and traditional music from Anatolia, Greece and the eastern Mediterranean, together with creators from elsewhere, have shed some light and make us connect with those people, our neighbours, who are suffering or are no longer here.
