'Casserole Carrier' Workshop

Participants must know how to use a sewing machine. At this time of year, when meals are often shared, a casserole carrier is useful for carefully transporting food containers or cakes of different sizes. Materials for the first day: canvas —minimum 60 cm long x 100 cm wide—, cotton fabric —minimum 50 cm long x 80 cm wide—, thin felt-type wadding —minimum 65 cm long x 80 cm wide—, cord —approximately 1 cm in diameter—, sewing thread matching the fabrics, safety pin and basic sewing kit with fabric scissors, thread, measuring tape, seam ripper and needles. Also bobbin holder, bobbins, universal presser foot and sewing-machine needles, pencil and paper for notes. Optional materials: decorations such as beads or cord stoppers. Led by Anna Puente.
