The Castanyada Festival 2026 is back, with music, costumes and chestnuts!!! "LA CUCA BAND" will liven up Plaça de Can Basté to celebrate our traditional Castanyada: we'll sing, dance and laugh!! For the now well-known costume parade there will be special prizes for "ECO" costumes, made from recycled materials, by hand, reusing textiles… In other words, not shop-bought! We'll parade down the costume catwalk and roast chestnuts for everyone! Don't miss it! Entertainment by Cia La Cuca animadora. With the collaboration of the XIC Can Basté groups, La Cebolla Roja, and the shops of the Fabra Centre-Virrei shopping area, El Forn Padró, The New Orleans café, the Mercat de la Mercè and Farmàcia Vehí Gasol.
