"Chris Potter" Concert

Chris Potter made his debut as a leader at our festival in 2008 with his Underground Quartet. Since then, we have seen him six more times with his various trios or as co-leader of projects with Dave Holland, twice with the so-called Crosscurrents Trio (the first time, in 2020, with Zakir Hussain) and once with the quartet formed by Holland, Potter, Lionel Loueke and Eric Harland. Potter now returns, undoubtedly the leading saxophonist of his generation, at the head of a trio completed by Matt Brewer and Kendrick Scott. A trio that promises, as always, a great night of jazz without limits. According to Potter himself, they will mainly play new music that they plan to record once the tour ends and, very probably, part of the repertoire from his latest album, the powerful Alive With Ghosts Today.
