Clara Cantore

Harlem Jazz Club, el Barri Gòtic, Ciutat Vella
Clara Cantore presents Regreso, her sixth album, produced in Santiago de Compostela. The acclaimed Argentine bassist, composer and singer-songwriter comes to Barcelona with a solo set for voice and electric bass. With sounds that weave together Argentine and Galician traditions, the album unfolds ten songs about travel, migration and the feeling of belonging, and retraces the footsteps of her great-grandmother, who emigrated from Baleira (Lugo). Improvisation and jam with guest musicians: the album launch will open a space for meeting and collective creation, in dialogue with the jazz character of the Harlem Jazz Club. Clara has released six albums and has performed at international festivals such as Cosquín in Japan, Karneval der Kulturen in Berlin, Barnasants in Barcelona, Cantares in Mexico City and Hollywood Forever in Los Angeles.
