'Col·lecció Pau. De l'ombra a la llum' Exhibition

The foyer of the Petit Palau hosts the exhibition Col·lecció Pau. De l'ombra a la llum by artist and illustrator Agnes Jonas, creator of the graphic identity of the Palau de la Música Catalana's 2026-27 season. The exhibition brings into the gallery space the visual universe Jonas has conceived around peace, the season's common thread, through organic shapes, colours and movements inspired by nature. The works trace a path from shadow to light in which leaves, plants and other nature-inspired forms emerge and transform. Peace appears as a latent presence, associated with balance, harmony and coexistence. This visual universe also enters into dialogue with the ornamental richness and constant presence of nature in the Palau's Modernista architecture. At the opening ceremony, held this Wednesday, Joaquim Uriach, president of the Fundació Orfeó Català-Palau de la Música Catalana, highlighted the sensitivity with which Jonas has translated a concept such as peace into visual language. Uriach also recalled Pau Casals, the 150th anniversary of whose birth is commemorated this year, as a universal musician and a symbol of commitment to peace.
