Do not miss this Banda programme, designed for a morning of fantastic music arriving in Barcelona directly from New York. In the heart of Manhattan, between Times Square and Seventh Avenue, more than forty theatres are concentrated. For over a hundred years, Broadway has attracted audiences from around the world; its most famous productions, such as Chicago and Cabaret, have been performed thousands of times. Many musicals became film successes, such as Bernstein's West Side Story or Cabaret starring Liza Minnelli, achieving a popularity that continues today. London's West End has also premiered titles later exported to other cities: Cats is a good example, a work translated into twenty languages.
