Artists: Camil Arcarazo, guitar; Iannis Obiols, piano; Ton Felices, double bass; Andreu Pitarch, drums. Programme. Some musicians are made and others seem to be born that way. Guitarist Camil Arcarazo belongs to the latter group, having shown from a very young age an entirely natural ability to make music, as though it were the easiest thing in the world, always from an approach that is as profound as it is playful. In his twenties, the Barcelona musician has become an all-round jazz player, from the most classic to the contemporary, not only as a guitar soloist but also as an accomplished double bassist. In this session we will hear him on guitar, accompanied by two musicians of his generation, pianist Iannis Obiols and double bassist Ton Felices, together with drummer Andreu Pitarch, the powerful engine behind Clasijazz Big Band and the groups of Xavi Torres and Irene Reig, among others.
