Performed by Glòria Ribera. Audience: adults. Glòria Ribera rescues and remixes old 1920s cuplés. With a superb group of musicians, she invokes Catalan folkloric divas through chants of devotional and popular electronica, somewhere between the cuplé tradition and camp excess. With backing vocals and glitter, she glorifies a repertoire of resistance aimed at protecting local residents from mass tourism.
