Conference 'Cohabitem Barcelona Intergenerational Coexistence'

Led by Marta Morales and Teresa Pueyo from Suara, a social-economy cooperative. Cohabitem Barcelona was created to combat unwanted loneliness among both older and younger people by promoting intergenerational renting as a way to generate mutual benefits. The initiative aims, on the one hand, to provide companionship and a source of income for older people and, on the other, to make housing more affordable for younger people. The project is being jointly promoted by Suara Cooperativa and Kuvu, an organisation from the Basque Country.
