Conference "Martí: the Story We Will Never Stop Telling"
5 November 2026 · 18:30
Centre Cívic Josep Maria Trias i Peitx, la Maternitat i Sant Ramon, Les Corts
We present Martí's story, a real-life account turned into a charity children's story. Martí was born with Kabuki syndrome and associated blindness. Guided by a very special yellow handrail, he shows us how, little by little, he learned to see the world in a different way. Martí died shortly after turning eight, but we believe his story still has much to teach us. This round table aims to be an intimate conversation about diversity, overcoming adversity and resilience, but also about the ability to transform pain into love and hope. Professionals: Eva Vilarrasa, speech therapist and author of the story. With the collaboration of Martí's family: Pere, Vicky and Jose María.
