Barcelona will host the 13th Procura+ Conference from 17 to 19 February 2027, the leading international congress on sustainable public procurement, bringing together experts and public administrations to share good practice and promote collaboration with businesses towards more resilient and competitive societies. Barcelona will once again place itself at the centre of sustainable public procurement by presenting the 13th Procura+ Conference, taking place from 17 to 19 February 2027. The initiative, jointly organised by Xarxa ICLEI – Governs Locals per la Sostenibilitat and Ajuntament de Barcelona, is currently in the programme-development phase. Sessions will focus on international best practice and strategies for innovative and sustainable public procurement, with the aim of strengthening collaboration between public administrations and businesses to build more resilient and competitive societies. This will not be the first time Barcelona has hosted the congress: the city hosted its first edition in 2006.
