Liceu Brass Ensemble, formed by the brass section of the Orquestra Simfònica del Gran Teatre del Liceu and directed by Matthias Höfs, proposes a brilliant journey through centuries of music. From the solemn architecture of Bach and Handel to the sonic theatre of Verdi and Wagner and the evocative elegance of Michel Legrand, the programme celebrates the expressive power, noble timbre and narrative capacity of brass sound. Works by J. S. Bach, G. F. Handel, G. Verdi, R. Wagner, M. Legrand and others. Brass group from the Orquestra Simfònica del Liceu. Director: Matthias Höfs.
