'Construint a la Sala 2007-2026. La mirada dels infants' Exhibition

This final exhibition offers a retrospective of the work of the Construint a la Sala association from 2007 to 2026, highlighting the role of children as protagonists in building the city. The final exhibition at Oliva Artés. Museu d'Història de Barcelona looks back over almost twenty years of Construint a la Sala, showing how architecture and education can become tools for participation and urban transformation. The exhibition brings together historical materials from the association (2007-2026) with the results of the programme developed during the year of the World Capital of Architecture: models, plans, drawings, photographs and audiovisual materials created by children. It also includes participation from the ten invited international cities, establishing a dialogue between diverse contexts and experiences that share the same perspective: placing children at the centre of thinking about the city. La mirada dels infants closes the 2026 journey by reaffirming a key idea of the project: children do not merely observe the city, but actively form part of it and build its future through their ideas, questions and proposals.
