'Contact Improvisation' Workshop *NEW*

A dance and movement practice based on improvisation in contact with other bodies. Through contact, participants learn to listen to one another, yield, and give and receive weight. Sessions will begin from different premises leading into individual physical exploration and, from this starting point, we will investigate different movement mechanics within the language of CI in order to enter into physical dialogue. CI can be a transformative practice that encourages trust, freedom, respect and presence. It is open to anyone keen to move and discover new languages, regardless of age or previous dance experience.
