"Crazy Rhythm Cats" Concert

Crazy Rhythm Cats are a Barcelona quartet inspired by the small swing combos of the late 1930s and small-format acoustic swing, evoking the sound of recordings by Benny Goodman, Barney Bigard, Jimmie Noone and Johnny Dodds. The band builds a solid, elegant rhythmic foundation on which, after presenting the melody, it develops a constant interplay of dynamics, dialogue and improvisation, naturally exchanging solos until at times it feels like a single sonic organism.
