'Creative Writing: Playing with Words' Workshop

Teacher: Maria Jacarilla Jordà. We tend to think of restrictions as something negative, but… what would happen if we used these obstacles as a method for encouraging creativity in writing? Telling the same story in many different ways or writing an entire novel without using a particular letter are some of the challenges used by writers such as Calvino, Perec and Queneau. Through a combination of theory and practice, we will explore the secrets of potential literature and carry out exercises that stimulate creativity and help us face the blank page.
