'Crochet' Workshop

Classes will be open-format: you choose what you want to make and we guide you. Whether you have crocheted before or have no experience, we will support you through the process, teaching you how to read, start and finish a pattern, or create your own if you have an idea but do not know how to begin from scratch. Notes: if you have no experience and are starting from scratch, bring a ball of yarn that is neither too fine nor too thick, and the hook size recommended by the manufacturer for that yarn. This is usually shown on the product label; if you buy it from a haberdashery or yarn shop, staff can advise you on the right hook. Nothing else is needed to start. If you already know how to crochet and want to begin a project straight away, you can bring your chosen yarn and suitable hook, or wait to discuss what you want to make and we will help you choose the most appropriate material.
