'Cultures of the Ancient Near East and Mediterranean' Cultural Workshop

Teacher: Jordi Pisa. From the 3rd millennium BC onwards, the Near East is considered the cradle of the earliest historical civilisations. We will explore several of these cultures and the territories in which they developed. We will discover Mesopotamian civilisation from Sumer and Akkad, review major advances achieved by humanity during this period, such as agriculture and writing, and move on to the culture of Ancient Egypt, whose art and architecture continue to amaze us today.
