28 September 2026 – 7 December 2026 · 12:15
Centre Cultural La Casa Elizalde, la Dreta de l'Eixample, Eixample
Teacher: Laura Benguerel. China has become the defining major actor of the 21st century. In a world marked by rivalry between powers, trade wars and the redefinition of global balances, the Asian giant is projecting increasingly decisive economic, technological and political influence. We will analyse Xi Jinping's leadership and his determination to consolidate a new stage for the country, as well as trade tensions with the United States and the opportunities they may represent for the Chinese economy. We will also examine how Trump's return to the international political scene may favour Beijing's strategic interests. An essential approach for understanding the present and future of global geopolitics.
