'Design Ceramic Tools with 3D Printing and Put Them to the Test' Workshop

Workshop leader: Design of ceramic tools with 3D printing. Led by Núria Ishii Balagueró (www.nuriaishii.com / @ishii_do). Discover how 3D printing can become an ally in ceramics. In this workshop you will learn to design and manufacture customised tools such as stamps, textures, letters or profiles for shaping clay, using free software and digital-fabrication tools. In the second session you will test your creations by working directly with clay, experimenting with their possibilities and creating your own piece. You will take home the tools you designed and printed, the tests carried out and a ceramic piece created with them. Previous experience working with ceramics is required. Materials to bring: · Laptop. · Inkscape and PrusaSlicer installed. Materials supplement: €15 (includes filament, high-temperature clay, tests and firing of the piece).
