Led by Núria Castellano i Solé, PhD in History, Egyptology specialist and member of the Archaeological Mission at Oxyrhynchus (Egypt). The Metropolitan Museum in New York (MET) is one of the world's most important museums. Its collection is highly varied, and the holdings devoted to ancient Egypt date back to the early 20th century. Thanks to donations from private collections and archaeological excavations, the MET has an interesting selection of Egyptian works of art.
