'Escriptorium. Calligraphy Workshop' One-off Workshop *NEW*

In this workshop we will learn to make iron-gall ink as it was made in medieval monasteries. Using crushed oak "galls" macerated in wine, we will obtain the ink by adding iron sulphide, a technique already known and practised by the Romans. We will make our own reed pen and finally practise the letters of the Carolingian alphabet to write our name. Led by Alícia Santamaria, IG: @ondalupita.
