By Montserrat Nieto. This exhibition presents a selection of illustrations commemorating the artist's thirty-year professional career. Montserrat Nieto discovered her passion for drawing and painting from an early age as a means of personal expression. After working as an art teacher, she moved into scientific publishing, where she began working in technical illustration. In 1995 she started collaborating with Grupo Santillana and, since 2000, has worked as a freelance illustrator for publishers including Editorial Océano, Casals-Onda, Vicens Vives, Larousse/Vox and Cruïlla/SM, as well as various writers and advertising professionals. Techniques: watercolour, ink, coloured pencil, oil pastel and digital painting. Talk: 'The Illustrator's Profession, Beyond Drawing'. Wednesday 9/12 from 18:30 to 20:00.
