Stripart exhibition room. What does it mean to listen to breathing? We listen to the breathing of the people we love, of those who sleep and whom we want to watch over. Or of those who, fragile or vulnerable, need our silence in order to rest and heal. Atrapa-sons seeks to listen to the breathing of the Delta de l'Ebre through a singular object: the bussó. Between December and March, this device spends its nights submerged in the waters near the mouth of l'Ebre. It is a fishing trap that uses a small light to attract a highly prized fish inside: the young eel —the elver or anguileta. This exhibition imagines how the traps breathe the river night, an orchestra of sounds and noises recorded from the Balada jetty as part of the Eufònic/Lo Pati 2025 residency. Inside it, an image moves: the trembling of the moon on the water. Tradition says that full-moon nights bring good anguileta fishing. Here, the moon draws us inward, turning the object into a space; a trap and, at the same time, a refuge that breathes and dreams. Before another's sleep, we keep silent. We whisper. We watch. Like someone walking over glass that could crack at a sound. This is what fishermen call 'no fer tropell'.…
