Exhibition “De cua d’ull”, Interludi #2 with LUCE

19 September 2026 – 10 January 2027 · 12:00

La Fabra Centre d’Art Contemporani, Sant Andreu, Sant Andreu

“De cua d'ull” is an expression used when you look at something discreetly or indirectly, without turning your head or openly paying attention to it. It is like observing something through peripheral vision so that it seems you are not looking at it. This is the kind of gaze LUCE incorporates into his artistic practice, a way of relating to public space that requires remaining alert to everything happening around him and adapting to circumstances as they arise. LUCE's modus operandi (Valencia, 1989) is constant movement through the city. This is his space for exploration, learning and creation. The city and its outskirts are where his origins in graffiti lie. Rooted in this practice is his interest in writing, which runs throughout his work. This second Interludi places the word at the centre and approaches it through disciplines such as performance practices, writing and sound. Through these proposals, the word becomes a shared field of experimentation generating a network of relationships, voices and temporalities. A space located between day and night, between what is seen and what remains hidden.
