“I don't have time for anything” is one of the most common phrases in our hectic lives today. This project reflects on how the concept and contemporary use of time have changed and how they affect us. Faced with today's crisis of lack of time —paradoxically scarcer despite technological conveniences— the artist proposes recovering symbolic elements from Barcelona's rural past as places for meeting, care and listening. The project reclaims shared, unproductive time as a space for imagining the future. It proposes a place of pause and listening amid contemporary noise and speed. What better use of time than simply watching life go by? Opening: Thursday 8 October at 18:30.
