9 November 2026 – 19 December 2026 · 10:00
Centre Cultural La Casa Elizalde, la Dreta de l'Eixample, Eixample
Rosa Tharrats. During a forty-day expedition to the seabed of the sub-Antarctic Atlantic, a scientific team from the Schmidt Ocean Institute aims to record forms of life that may never have been seen before. Also aboard Falkor (Too), the vessel hosting the team, is Rosa Tharrats, who creates Vestir el vent, a sculptural installation made from different textile materials that dance with the currents. The video piece The Underwater Divines are flying and floating and melting with us takes you in and out of the water so that you can observe relationships between species. Marine creatures, bodies of water, textiles and materials interact to open up new possibilities. As part of Loop Festival 2026. The exhibition enters into dialogue with the Mirades series "Cossos d'aigua. Vent, mar i altres criatures meravelloses", programmed by Maria Pipla.
