Exhibition "Trans l Gender l Glitch, de Xeito Fole"

A transmedia installation of an intimate, visual and poetic archive of the artist's gender-transition process between 2012 and 2016. The proposal seeks to subvert the logic of constant visibility on social media; “unpublished” images become spaces of resistance, fragments of an intimate memory that emerge and reject the performativity imposed by the regime of capitalist hypervisibility. Associated activities: Opening and talk: Thursday 1 October at 18:30. "Identitat glitch" workshop with the artist: Thursday 15 October at 18:30. A collective practice of digitally manipulating participants' own images to explore identity through error. Techniques such as databending, distortion and coding will be used as ways of narrating the body outside the control of social media.
