Do you remember your first day at school, with that mixture of excitement and nerves? The eccentric characters of Bandàstic feel exactly the same when they arrive at their first concert to perform with Banda Municipal de Barcelona (BMB). Amid spectacular music and comic scenes, four clowns mingle with the band's instruments and dance to zarzuela, festive marches and film melodies. BMB, one of the oldest active musical institutions in Spain, invites you to L'Auditori's largest hall to enjoy and take part as a family in a concert full of humour, dance and distinctly bandàstic characters. Ages 5 and over. Repertoire: works by Charles Ives, Rafael Martínez Valls, Nino Rota, Bert Appermont, Shostakovich, Marcel Peeters, Henrie Filmore, Philip Sparke, Percy Grainger and José Rafael Pascual-Vilaplana.
