It begins on Friday 4 September with the ninth night-time community walk from Horta to Montserrat, organised by Lluïsos d'Horta, among other events. On Saturday 5 September, all morning, one of this year's new additions takes place: the San Fermín Express by the Asociación Casa de los Navarros, bringing the spirit of Navarre to the heart of the neighbourhood with music, sport, tradition and plenty of fun for all ages. In the afternoon, the organisations' cercavila will make its way through the neighbourhood, ending at around 18.30 at Parc de les Rieres d'Horta, where the Festa Major opening address will be given by Llúcia Viloca, founder of the Carrilet educational and therapeutic centre, followed by greetings from the District councillor, Sara Belbeida. Cercaviles, shows, walks, sports competitions, cultural itineraries and guided tours, talks, vermouths, community meals, open-air dinners, correfocs, competitions, children's activities, performing arts and concerts of all kinds are just some of what is on offer.
