'Figures of the Spanish Transition' Cultural Workshop *NEW*

Teacher: Octavi Mallorquí. Marking fifty years since the beginning of Spain's democratisation, we will explore the figures who played leading roles in the Transition. Through politicians, military figures, religious and social leaders, as well as some cultural phenomena that marked the period, we will analyse the light and shade of a decisive period in contemporary history. From Joan Carles I, Adolfo Suárez and Felipe González to Jordi Pujol, Xabier Arzalluz, Johan Cruyff and the phenomenon of «El destape», we will discover the people and transformations that helped shape present-day Spain.
